The actress is a resident of New York City. Chando began her acting profession at Manhattan College. Chando was the first Maddie Coleman of the television soap show As World Changes. The role she played was between 2005 and 2007 before returning for a few months, after the show's end in 2009. Alexandra began her professional career acting with the TV series House Blend in which she played Jenna Harper. She was Maddie Coleman in the CBS TV soap As the World Turns for three seasons. Then in 2009, Chando got a role in the American documentary TV series True life and further appeared on the show Sherri. Moreover, she starred in two episodes of the American comedy-drama TV series Glory Daze as Annabelle. In addition, she has appeared in Castle, Hindsight and Dead People.
