Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester, an American singer, model, actor and music producer, is a multi-talented talent. Most famously, she is known for her role as 'Blair Waldorf' on the television drama "Gossip Girl." Leighton Meester started her career as a child. As a child she was a part of a local stage production of "Wizard Of Oz," following which her interest in acting was heightened. The first roles she had were models and commercials. She has worked with brands including 'Ralph' Lauren' and 'Herbal Essences' 'Vera Wang', 'Jimmy Choo as well as 'Vera Wang'. Even though she began her profession as a model she moved into acting as well. She started her career as model but then moved into acting. Aside from performing, she's recorded music and written songs together with a variety of notable artists, including 'Cobra Starship and the singer Robin Thicke. Billboard Top Hits have listed the songs she has written. Leighton Meester also performed on Broadway as part of the show "Of Mice and Man."
